Difficulty- really flat. A couple of slight inclines but they were nothing. I gave it a 2 though because some of the ground is that cobble stone type road. So can be a little hard to run on . Otherwise it was all road run, plenty of room with no congestion spots.
Scenery- very nice. European city. Nothing breathtaking. But still beautiful route.
Production- we went to packet pick up on Friday in the morning. So there were no lines. Very easy process. Pasta dinner was free. Nothing spectacular. But they had 3 options. Line was quick to get through.
There were many vendors, including the marathon sponsor brand with some pretty reasonably priced items. I got a head band and arm sleeves for €6 each (pictured)
For the run itself- clearly marked route with good traffic control. Great crowd support with lots of high fives and “power ups!”.
Aid stations were frequent with water, electrolytes, salt, sugar, bananas, oranges, magnesium, and gel packets. The first aid stations had folks ready to spray you down with some icy hot type spray.
Swag- very nice back pack. A tech shirt, and for the full marathoners it had another finisher tech shirt . The medal was also pretty awesome! (Picture uploaded)
Flat and well organised race!

Flat course which unfortunately is quite boring. A few bands along the course. Marathon and half marathon runners start at 9 am while 10k runners start at 10 am which leads to a very congested situation at the finish – getting your bags takes a while. Water, energy drinks as well as gels are offered along the course several times. Nice medal. Best hotel to stay is Best Western Hotel which is very close to start/finish.
