First of all: Lanzarote is a wonderful and beautiful island! The Lanzarote is a huge and very well organised race! The half marathon is a point to point courses. Buses bring runners to the start in Puerto del Carmen. From there the course leads 21k to the north to Costa Teguise. The course is beautiful, always at the sea. But it’s also challenging as it‘s quite hilly and as we had strong winds from the north we had headwinds from start to finish. All in all a wonderful event!
