It was the first edition of Jönköping Marathon/Half Marathon. Jönköping is a Swedish city 1,5 hrs east of Gothenburg and as all the races in Sweden the race in Jönköping was perfectly organized. The course is flat with a few hilly passages. It´s not very scenic, but from time to time the atmosphere is quite good. The finish on the bridge is awesome and the swag you get is amazing. Every runner gets a very nice medal, many drinks such as iso or alcohol free Carlsberg beer, a huge bag full of yogurt, a plastic drinking bottle etc. The best is that every runner has got the choice between a white or a black finisher shirt – and it´s a really nice one without any sponsors on it!
