Great race at a frequently used course with short gradual hills at first leading to 2 or 3 rollers and a final mile that’s largely downhill. Were it not for the high temperatures I’d say it was an easy course. 8AM start time, which seemed REALLY late, but that made it a much lower wait afterwards for the shops to open, and a local joint had premade breakfast burritos (paid, not free) and mimosas ready. Looks like quite a few of us went there for the unofficial after party. Great production (and latrine trailer instead of portajohn, so much more tolerable in the heat. The tshirt is a distressed cotton 80s rock design and the medal was cute and well thought out for the theme of this race. Do again for sure, but bring a hat.
