At the Horseshoe Bend 50 miler, experience two of the most photographed landmarks in the country—Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. After traversing the desert sand and slickrock to reach these unbelievable features, the trail offers smooth single track around a plateau. The route finishes in Page with spectacular views of Lake Powell and Glen Canyon Dam.
The 55K course takes you to one of the nation’s most photographed landmarks, Horseshoe Bend of the Colorado River. After navigating desert sand and slickrock to reach this iconic site, the course finishes with a smooth singletrack loop around the plateau of Page, AZ, offering breathtaking views of Lake Powell and Glen Canyon Dam.
With stunning views of Lake Powell and Glen Canyon Dam, the half marathon offers unforgettable views. The route ascends and circumnavigates the plateau that the city of Page is built upon. This route offers runners’ smooth, fast, and incredibly runnable singletrack.

This year was the inaugural running of this race. This race was well organized, all the volunteers did a fantastic job, aid stations were great with plenty of variety for the runners needs. There was a section of the race that was over slickrock, (the horseshoe bend section); that could of used more markings as it was a little challenging to navigate. Overall a great race, The race director did a very good job. I would definitely recommend this race, I will be doing it again next year.
