This is a great half marathon. It starts in a beautiful park and it’s pretty much downhill the whole distance. For the first couple of miles it’s ran on roads, but the remaining distance is ran on paved trails winding by the virgin river. The race director is great, Underground Runner does a great job! I would do this race again.

This year was the inaugural running of this race. This race was well organized, all the volunteers did a fantastic job, aid stations were great with plenty of variety for the runners needs. There was a section of the race that was over slickrock, (the horseshoe bend section); that could of used more markings as it was a little challenging to navigate. Overall a great race, The race director did a very good job. I would definitely recommend this race, I will be doing it again next year.
