The Hop Hop Half is the cutest and most scenic Easter weekend race of the spring! Your favorite Spring-themed run/walk takes you along the banks of beautiful Lacamas Lake and Creek and the paths at Camas Meadows in Camas, Washington, just across the River from Portland! Choose from a 5K along the path and through the golf course or complete a 10K, 15K, or Half Marathon along the scenic path along Lacamas Lake!
The half marathon starts and finishes at Camas Meadows Golf Course along the west side of Lacamas Lake. This is a challenging course near the Round Lake section of the course with some steep hills before you head back at the turnaround spot. The course will feature asphalt, some road, and lots of packed gravel/dirt sections. The first 4 miles feature a mix of rolling hills and flat trails with lots of amazing views of parks and the Lake!

The atmosphere was a 10+. Pre and post party with people laughing, talking to each other and having a great time. Parking was close and lots of it.
Great professional outfit that handed out packets and everyone was happy.
The course was flat & fast. Police held me back at a road crossing for about 6 cars and that sucked but oh well.
Had a great time and so will you. Make sure you go to this event, you will have so much fun and you will come back year after year. They give you a great shirt, medal for doing the event and also 1st, 2nd & 3rd place
Bunnies, mimosas and roadblocks.

I did this race as it was billed a flat course to set a PR on. Runners have to cross Colombia Blvd and unfortunately I was unaware that they would be stopping runners for traffic. I was in about 12th overall place when a few of us were told to stop running to let the cars go by. That pretty much killed any PR I was hoping for. The course otherwise is fine along the river, out and back. They had croissants and eggs and mimosas, cute shirt and the vibe was pretty festive. I emailed the race organizers about informing runners they may be stopped on the course for traffic, even though they promote this race for PR’s. They just said the police can stop whoever they want, when they want. I won’t be doing this race again due to that, but it’s fun if you aren’t interested in racing for a PR.
