The course was beautiful even being wet. Very well mark, there was no way you could get lost. Good job, RD. The aid stations were actually just water stations. They were manned with unenthusiastic volunteers. Not a big deal in the whole scheme of life, but runners in the back of the pack usually need encouragement. Finishers receiver a very nicely designed mug. Group placers, 1st, 2nd and third, were awarded wood medals. Post-run food was typical run food. I was personally disappointed that awards were done while runners were still on the course. Once awards are given everyone leaves. For the difference of 15 minutes, (for the last runner) awards should have been held. Running is about finishing and supporting others on the course, this showed lack of sportsmanship. Every person on that course deserved respect and that was not apparent today.
