Bottleneck at the start. Pretty course with about a mile, mile and a half in the dark in the park. It’s not long and honestly your phone would do fine if you don’t want to bring a headlight/beltlight. The first and last part inside the arboretum grounds where everything is nicely lit for Christmas. The afterparty is well above most 5ks and the energy was very much a mix of “walk the park and take pictures” and “hang out with each other and get festive.” Lots of great swag for sale with light up gloves, hats and scarfs. The medal was a nice light-up medal and pretty hefty for a 5k. Absolute do again. Great night race.
