Join us this February, and spend a beautiful Sunday morning doing something healthy with all your special someones. Whether you’re in love, out of love, looking for love, or just want to come run or walk, plan to join us for this Valentine’s Weekend Celebration!
The Heart Breaker Half Marathon course is comprised of three loops (one of which is run twice) over quiet and scenic country roads. Begin opposite the tennis courts adjacent to the running track circling the football stadium. Enter Croeni Rd and run north across Jacobson and through a beautiful business park before crossing West Union Rd into the countryside dominated by farmers’ fields and wineries. There is little elevation gain for the first 1+ miles, then a few moderate climbs (maximum elevation gain of 50 ft) before coming to Heart Break Hill.
From MP 2.98 to MP 3.98 there is an elevation difference of +150 ft or +193 ft when considering the few downhills mixed included. Within this section, dubbed “Heart Break Hill”, each participant will be timed and have their time & pace reported like it was a separate race. The fastest 5 males & 5 females will receive a special prize.
Once you reach the summit, the course is mostly flat with one major downhill as you conclude the Heart Break Loop which will be run only once. The remainder of the course has a lot of flat terrain with only a few moderate rolling hills where the maximum elevation gain is less than 50 ft. This loop you will run twice. Conclude the run by returning on Century Blvd to Croeni, through the business park and around the running track to the finish line inside the stadium.
The 10k course is a single loop of the Half-Marathon course, which does not include the Heart Break Loop, run over quiet and scenic country roads. Begin on Croeni Rd and run north across Jacobson and through a beautiful business park before crossing West Union Rd into the countryside dominated by farmers’ fields. The course is basically flat for the first 1+ miles before entering the farm country where there is a lot of flat terrain with only a few moderate rolling hills (maximum elevation gain is less than 50 ft). Conclude the run by returning on Century Blvd to Croeni through the business park and around the running track to the finish line inside the stadium.
The 5k course is flat & fast being run through a beautiful business park where the maximum elevation gain is 20 ft. The course begins and ends by running around the track circling the football stadium.

This run was pretty easy with only a few rolling hills. The free shirt was the best I have ever gotten for a race. Thick Comfortable long sleeve with a good even, no advertising on it. Plus free photos! The after party is in doors which is nice in the cold winter months. My favorite part was finishing the run on the high school track field.
