A taxi took me from my hotel at the Malecon to the start in downtown Guayaquil early in the morning. The atmosphere at the start was super with music and aerobic. The start was delayed by about 15 minutes, but ok – we´re in Ecuador and not in Germany. The course is flat and takes the runners to different parts of the city. Unfortunately the streets are not all closed for the traffic which was a little bit dangerous from time to time! Good atmosphere at the finish! Nice medal and nice T-Shirt! I would do it again!

A taxi took me from my hotel at the Malecon to the start in downtown Guayaquil early in the morning. The atmosphere at the start was super with music and aerobic. The start was delayed by about 15 minutes, but ok – we´re in Ecuador and not in Germany. The course is flat and takes the runners to different parts of the city.
