This was a fun race. The 10k was essentially 2 loops of the 5k course and was moderately hilly. There was good course direction along the city streets. The race started and finished near Southend Brewing, so there was plenty of beer (each runner was allowed 2 free beers, and of course could buy more). The age group awards were beer growlers and a certificate to fill them. This race was also part of Trivium Racing’s Greensboro series. The medals from all 5 races interlock similar to the Olympic rings.
