The Gorch-Fock-Lauf is THE running event in Wilhelmshaven and surroundings! There is a challenge for every ambition: from 5 km or 10 km, through a half-marathon to school and children’s runs, there is something for every runner’s heart. All runs are measured by chip-timing.

The attractive route runs partly directly on the water and has been popular with thousands of runners for many years. Start and finish is the cultural center pumping station. At the Jadebusen, along the UNESCO World Heritage Wadden Sea, the runners come across the two historic bridges of Wilhelmshaven. On the pumping station there are exciting actions around the barrel.
