The Frog Hill Half Marathon is a very unique race that starts at the top of the world-famous “Frog Hill” in Waynesville, MO. The beginning of the race is a big descent where you can expect fast times! Once on the trail, you will run alongside the Roubidoux river and take in some beautiful country views. The course will challenge you to conquer “Superior Hill”. And when you do, you will be rewarded with your very own frog medal to commemorate your effort and brag to your friends. So hop on over to Waynesville, MO and join us!
The Leapfrog 5K takes place on Friday in Waynesville Park. Chip timed with a flat and fast out and back course. The 10k and Half Marathon is on Saturday morning starting at East Elementary in Waynesville and ending at the Waynesville Park. There will be shuttles to take you back to your car. You’ll love going DOWN Frog Hill and catching a full view of the famous Frog Rock which is listed as one of the great things to see when visiting Missouri.
And if you’re looking for a challenge, run the Leapfrog 5k on Friday night, then the 10k or half on Saturday and receive a third medal for completing the Frog Hill Challenge!!! All of the races will lead you along the banks of the Roubidoux where you’ll see the beautiful colors of fall in the Ozarks.

This was a hometown race for me. It was the first year they ran it. It is a mix of roads, gravel, and sidewalks. They didn’t have technical timing or anything really official, BUT, it was the first race. It has the capability of becoming awesome. This is definitely hills- be prepared for the hills.
Shirt ended up being one of my favorite shirts. Medal was small and cheap.
Moved away but would run again if I go back.
