    Parking is plentiful.
    Was told that no package pickup was available for 1/2 Marathon but it appeared that they were giving out numbers on race morning.
    Course has lots of police on the cross roads.
    2nd mile goes past all the Dispensaries at the NM State line, since weed is legal in NM.
    First and last mile is done on the horse track in soft sand. Can slow you down.

    Can be quite cold due
    Parking is plentiful
    Traffic is controlled in the beginning but gets congested towards the end of the race.

    This race runs starts in NM and follows a loop that takes you through TX and back. I would recommend the race director to consider changing up the race start location; giving runners the chance to claim TX or NM on separate years.
