This was the first half marathon that I ran 5 years ago. There are a few rolling hills, but overall a fairly easy course. If you’re looking for crowd support, you will not find it here. The course takes you through one of the local parks and overall has nice views (for Ohio). The medals are always top notch and the shirts are nice as well. The weather is hit or miss this time of the year. Luckily this year, it was in the mid 50’s at the start.

This was the first half marathon that I ran 5 years ago. There are a few rolling hills, but overall a fairly easy course. If you’re looking for crowd support, you will not find it here. The course takes you through one of the local parks and overall has nice views (for Ohio). The medals are always top notch and the shirts are nice as well. The weather is hit or miss this time of the year. Luckily this year, it was in the mid 50’s at the start.

The logistics of this race were easy and smooth. The parking directions were clear and the start line was organized (with plenty of porta potties). The course was mainly flat, a few small hills but nothing strenuous. The Glacier park that you run through is pretty but I would say that the course scenery is a bit more on the boring side. The after party is at a Mexican restaurant and includes a free margarita, chips/salsa/queso which was a great touch.

Nice Medal, Good Race

Sweet medal…did my personal best at this race. Pretty much a flat course that meanders through Dublin residential and metropark area. Not many spectators at this race, aid stations were ok, after doing Capital City this one seemed a little less exciting, but overall a great course and not as crowded as Cap City either. The biggest complaint (which had nothing to do with the race) was that it was too hot.
