The swag is pretty bad. T-shirt/belt buckle pretty darn hideous; I would have preferred decent Aid stations instead. Aid stations were mostly candy bars and super processed packaged food (i.e. butterfingers and frosted cookies). I would have preferred a variety of options like pancakes, sandwiches, different fruits, gels, etc.
Spectators and pacers were not allowed, so that was a bummer too!
That said, the race ran smoothly and the scenery made up for any of the downsides.

Can’t beat this one. All of nature is on display, Yellow in full display. Fall is here. Don’t miss this one. Great job by the Host, a family of runners. The course is paved, dirt and 90% trail. A good elevation gain, you have two river crossings, and lots of trees and hills. But a very good course. Race start was 34 degrees and around 82+- at the finish. Good swag, hat, shirt, medal. The food as always is perfect.
