First time ever that I visited the country of Moldova. I really enjoyed running in Chisinau which is the capital of Moldova. The organization of the race was very good. Start and finish is in downtown and everything was very easy. As I arrived very late in the evening before the race I got my race package in the morning of the race. The start of the race was delayed by 15 minutes for any reason. They had already counted from 10 to 4, but then had to stop the countdown and wait another 15 minutes before we could start – that was a little irritating. Once we were on route I really enjoyed the race which is a 2 lap course through downtown of Chisinau. As runners have to pass by the start/finish area twice I could enjoy the super spirit of the race several times. The weather was perfect – clear blue skies and temperatures around 20 degrees. Quite big medal and a nice T-Shirt for every runner.
