This is one of my favorite races to do for marathon training. I’d much rather do my 20 mile long run as a supported race. The trail is nice and flat and I’m so glad they changed the finish line location. As always, CCR has the best snacks at the end of the race. The shirt this year wasn’t as good as previous years, but it’s fine. I still wish they would offer a medal for finishers, or at least the option to add one. But that’s just me. I’d still do this race anytime I was training for a fall marathon.

Charm city run 20 miler is a nice race to use as a tea run. They keep it very low key to keep the price down. No medals but they give you a nice long sleeve cotton shirt. The race is on NCR trail which offers shade on sunny days. If you are training for a fall marathon I would highly use this race as part of your training!
