Central Florida Legends will take place on the scenic Spring to Spring and East Central Regional paved trails of West Volusia County. Races will begin and end at Gemini Springs Park in Debary, FL.
The Central Florida Legends include the Skunk Ape Full Marathon, Mermaid Half Marathon and Fountain of Youth 5K. The routes traverse paved trails, roads and parks full of Old Florida flora, fauna and charm. They are also flat and fast!
The full marathon course is USATF Certified FL19055TY and is a Boston Marathon Qualifier.
Runners will be supported with aid stations every 1-2 miles offering water, gatorade and gels. All courses are completely flat.
Debary is conveniently located midway between Orlando and Daytona Beach. Gemini Springs is easily accessible from I-4.
Events will be hosted by the West Volusia Runners and managed and timed by Runner’s High Timing and Race Management. Legends events are a part of the Live Your Life Well Race Series sponsored by Halifax Health.
