Capital City Race (MO)

The Capital City Race is dedicated to Mental Health Awareness and is in memory of Jared Palmer, who lost his life to mental illness in November 2021. There are multiple routes available, including 5k, 10k, and 1/2 Marathon courses showcasing numerous landmarks around the Capital City. This event will start at the Jefferson City Capitol at 7:00 AM. Come out and walk, jog, or sprint with us. Join the fun and celebrate Mental Health Awareness!

Registration cost varies depending on your race selection. Registration includes one t-shirt, bib, and swag bag! T-shirts will only be guaranteed for those who register BEFORE May 1.

Join us after the race for some music & fun! Local food vendors will be joining us to have food for purchase after the race!

In Memory of Jared Palmer
The Capital City Race recognizes the rich and too-short life of Jared Palmer, who lost his life to mental illness in November 2021.

Proceeds from this event will go to benefit Jared Palmer’s kids, George and Ellen, and the other portion will go to the Cole County Treatment Court Programs including DWI court, Drug court, Co Occurring Court, and Veterans court.
