Nice local race supporting the local kids park, last year they had great barbeque, this year snacks but plenty of water and gatorade. Very nice swag with shirts from last year offered cheaply. Will definitely run the relatively flat course again next year. The heat is on!

Two loops around the local park and through the nearby neighborhood. Asphalt was busted in places, but holes were clearly marked. Very nice shirt, and complete post-race meal provided! The … MORE
Two loops around the local park and through the nearby neighborhood. Asphalt was busted in places, but holes were clearly marked. Very nice shirt, and complete post-race meal provided! The medals got lost in the mail, but they had some nice door prizes and still provided awards to the top finishers.

Small local 5k, running around a park and neighborhood in Rogersville, nice and flat, small amount of busted asphalt, police directing runners and diverting traffic. For a race of less than 100 people excellent food, BBQ sandwiches, plenty of sugary treats, great production, chip timed and nice shirt as well.
