Hot run! Nice swag: tank top, beach towel (a good one) and a yeti-like to-go cup. Food could have been better. And more then just one beer for the runners.

My favorite race of the year! So weather forecast was 100% rain at about 70-ish degrees so pretty humid for december for sure. The RD made the announcement via email and Facebook the night before that the start time was moved up 30minutes to get ahead of the storm. Good call! Those that did not make it in within 2hrs 45mins definitely got the brunt of the storm but all made it across the finish line safe & sound. We but happy. it may have rained ever single moment of the race but it was still a super fun time and we still had just the best after party ever! the pasta was hot & the beer was cold! and get this: The race director and his wife even handed out homemade banana choco-chip muffins! now tell me what RD does that?!?

Great bridge to run! in 2017 Outback was a sponsor and the food and race bag swag were awesome. This year, it was Humana. Race bag swag was meh at best and the food was muffins, bananas, orange slices and pastries. Disappointment was observed. Race towel again but size & quality was less than 2017’s towel. Still beats the ugly pinks shirts that never fit.

Waterfront scenery and pretty old (and new) architecturally stunning homes. i’ve ran every distance in this race over the last 5 years and the challenge is the most fun, the half is the most challenging. But the free beer and awesome after party is the best! Great group of peeps running the show too!

medals said new year resolution run, not new year new me. and there was confusion at the start with calling bib numbers to start in waves. no one could hear what was being said. and no food at the finish. a few bananas but nothing else. not even water. no age groups in the race results.

This did not suck like i though it would. Nice swag. Pretty cool to run through tropicana field. Course was not accurately measured as my mapmyrun app came in at 13.47 miles. compared with lots of others, everyone had over 13.4 miles on theirs. the after party set up was nice and thank you for having a cider selection. could have used cold water at the finish and not a line of people waiting on smoothies. that kind of got in the way. need more races in pinellas county. and love my race t-shirt. already registered for 2018.

always a nice course, flat, easy run. 15k is perfect to fit in for training for a half. always a fantastic race. p.s. to new race director: DON’T CHANGE A THING!

No starting line. Asked a volunteer in a yellow shirt and was quite rudely told “i don’t know”. Asked 2 more before finally finding it thanks to another runner. The volunteers were pretty rude. No announcement for the start or the National Anthem. The course was fine, same as every race out there however the photographers on the course were just standing there NOT taking pics. After race party was meh at best. The chocolate milk tasted funny so it was thrown away. Saw several cases sitting in the sun so no wonder.

so much whining from the runner this year! boo-hoo, wanted a t-shirt but got a giant beach towel instead. ya can’t please everyone and in a race full of women, you’re never gonna please them all. granted the shirts & tanks from the last few years have been just awful in color and sizing, the towel was a nice change. keep it up. the photogs were terrible. not a single pic of me or my friends. work on better shirts or towels or option to choose.
