This is one of my favorite half marathons. I try to run it every year as much as my schedule allows me. This year, I felt that the start of the race was poorly managed. 10K and half marathon racers were already in the chute before the 5k Runners cleared preventing them to reach the start. By the time I entered the chute many slower runners and walkers were already positioned and I couldn’t get through staying in back behind slower runners which caused chaos first few miles

First 10 miles of the half marathon was spectacular. Great scenery, lots of challenging hills, both up and down. I could do without the last three miles though. Course was a little more confusing, easy to get lost, and bumpy ground, without defined trails. Volunteers and aid stations were very helpful. Medals at the end were very attractive. I would do this race again next year.
