No frills production with close parking, same day race pick up…grab your bib and go (which I appreciate). Awards were plentiful for age groups, medals nice, and the German themed post race food was an added bonus.

This is my first RnRPhilly. It was a large production race with the early expo pick up. Corrals were large and really no adherence to where people should be at the start made for a slow first mile. Otherwise, it was a flat and fast course. Last mile was next to the river and in full sun. On the fence about doing another.

Ran this for POT since it is so flat. Kicked off in St. Michaels and then headed into neighborhoods. This was not totally closed course, so a decent amount of cars going thru the course at points. Terrible weather leading up to the run, so started in rain and ran thru standing water (yuck!). Still well produced event and plan on running in 2019

For this to be an enjoyable race, you must submit a decent POT! There are 25,000+ runners with varying abilities, large corrals, and non runners with questionable running etiquette. After I was done and looking back at the thousands of runners still coming up the course, I can’t imagine it being an enjoyable experience for the further back corrals. I took off in B (10K) and D (1/2). It was still pretty open, lots of room to maneuver and more experienced runners who followed the rules of the road.

For a good portion of the races you are running on highways in and around Disney (the clover leaf exit ramps are brutal), but when you enter Magic Kingdom or Epcot…that is what makes the experience. Crowds before the race are fun and supportive. Disney on course photography is GREAT. Best race photos I have ever received (but expensive to purchase). Definitely more of an experience than anything else.

First time running the race even though I have heard great things about it. Crowd support was good from beginning to end. Coming into City Hall and directly after was amazing and felt like a party.

Packet pick up with smooth, port a potties day of was plentiful, and getting thru the end of the course with food pick ups, etc was easy.

Worst part of the whole experience? Getting out of the parking lot at Wells Fargo. Sat in traffic for about 2 hours. Next time, I think I will just go to the Phillies game 🙂
