We running straight into the wind almost the entire way! Other than that, it was an ok race, nothing too special. It was difficult to find the shuttle to get to the start and again to find the shuttle after the finish. Terrible expo inside a Dave and Busters and the after-party wasn’t great either.

This was my second time running this race. Great small race! Nice small outdoor expo. You have to take a bus to the start, but they have a great set-up with heat lamps and toilets right when you get off the bus. They also let you stay on the bus to keep warm until the race starts.

Great marathon that everyone should experience at least once in their lifetime! The start is a pain to get to, but nothing beats the crowds or getting to run through all 5 boroughs on NYC!

It was a nice little race. The race organization was great, it was easy to get to the start and the start of the race went smoothly. The course itself was pretty boring. There were a couple hills on the course, but for the most part the race was flat and fast. The only part of the course that I didn’t enjoy was from about mile 9-17 was. It was a long out and back and though it was fun to see the fast runners go by it lasted for a really long time and became more discouraging the further out we got.

It was a nice little race through a cute town. It was pretty hilly during the first half of the race, but flattened out for the last few miles. There was packet pick-up the morning of which was quick and easy. The volunteers were great and the start and finish were well-run. The reason for my poor review is due to the fact that the streets were not shut off to traffic and there was inconsistency with safety at intersections. Some intersections had both volunteer support and police holding off traffic, however there were a few pretty busy intersections that didn’t have anyone stopping traffic. Due to this I do not know if I will run this race again.
