The bib was made on thicker than normal plastic. nice long sleeve rave shirt.
Busing to the top of the mountain was easy and well organized. volunteers were great, you could tell the wanted to help and cared. Aid stations were full of everything, I think at one a person was making burritos. Plenty of porta potties. American Air called my while on mile 10ish to tell me my flight had been canceled. bummer Great experience and would recommend the marathon.

Arrived early for p/p and good parking location. They did not have my shirt size. The shirt is a cotton T with sponsors on the back, no real swag to speak of. I liked the route, long straightaways with rolling hills. the weather was perfect high 50 low/mid 60s. Good pancakes and pizza after. Bottled water and bottled Gatorade. Plenty of AID stations and lots of helpful volunteers. I’ll run this again next year

I traveled from Dallas. the scenery is amazing !!! its about about the views. good atmosphere at the start line. I used the bag check to secure my jacket after, it was cool weather. Sedona is beautiful but expensive. The hills are fun, lots and lots of fun. The elevation is about 4,600′ , I’m from TX about 462′ – beware. Race shirt was not impressive , they should have included the sponsor on the back. I could see running this again in a few years. Too expensive to have it in the annual rotation.

Not enough medals , not clearly marked turns on course. No water or snacks offered by the organizer after the race. I will not be returning next year and I do not recommend this race. Location is great , course is fun. Shared paths with expected dog walkers and bikes and other runners. Parking was easy , leaving was easy.

arrive early for parking – side of the road fill-up fast and adjacent parking fills up too. , stay for the BBQ , Woodshed is great food. Production is on point. Easy course to navigate, 10K is out and back X 2. This year im doing the half. Stay for the BBQ. Great SWAG.
