Information ahead of time was spot on! We received emails with instructions, updates on weather, and lots of motivation. Course was challenging at the bridge and the tunnel, but the rest was flat. Weather could’ve cooperated a little better, but at least it wasn’t cancelled! Energy was electric at the finish line. Medals were epic. Race aid was just awesome and volunteers were so great. Will be back!

Weather this year was brutal, but the course is great and the course support and entertainment was awesome!! We finished on the field at Cooley Law School stadium and enjoyed lots of post race refreshments. They were great in providing us with cooling cloths at the end, too. Bag check was a snap. Packet pickup and correspondence was excellent. Bravo!

The Crim always goes above and beyond to bring a spectacular festival of races. The Expo is well organized and easy to maneuver through. The Special Olympians and Michigan Mile are so fun to watch the night before. Then, for the 10 mile, the course is tough at times (Bradley Hills), but there is SO MUCH support and entertainment along the course that keeps a smile on your face. The Crim always has great swag and a fabulous after party.

Entry fee is awesome, not expensive at all. Therefore, I hesitate to complain about the race shirt, but the quality of the shirt and medal was bad. I’d pay a little more for registration if there was a better shirt and medal. Otherwise, the course is excellent, going on the river trail and along the airport. Course support was ok. One station’s water tasted like bleach. I think this race could be bigger and bring in more revenue if some improvements were made. Would definitely run this one again, though.
