I fell in love with this race doing the relay in 2008. I worked my way up to being able to run 26.2 in 2014 . It will continue to be my favorite of all time. The entire weekend is so fun. From the Diaper Dash to the Flying Fur, 1 mile to 26.2, Pig Works has opportunities for everyone at every level to participate. The race is organized and efficiently managed, the crowd support is amazing and very spectator-friendly. It is a challenging course but it takes you through the city so you can see so many landmarks and fun neighborhoods. The media, the volunteers, cheerleaders, first responders keeping us safe and especially the runners will convince you that this is a race you want to come back for every year. Pig Works helps everyone to fly high and reach the Finish Swine 🐷💕🐽

Once again, Pig Works has put on a fabulous race. The expo was much smaller and not as elaborate as previous years but the race was great. Plenty of aid stations, restrooms and easy gear check, nice swag, tons of enthusiasm and positive vibes throughout. The post-race party has good food and drink options. The Snout/Stinger metals and Queen Medals are awesome.

Cincinnati and Pig Works make the Flying Pig Marathon the best!
It is well organized, set up to include people of all ages, abilities and goals. Swag is pretty good . The course is well supported with plenty of aid stations, entertainment and tons of people cheering on the runners. It is definitely my favorite race each year. This year was a total downpour but I am thankful they continued the race and made it a great day despite the rain.

If you like the hometown feel of a small race but enjoy the hype of a big city race, this event has both! If you are lucky enough to register early and get a discounted hotel room with one of their partners, it is even better. I come from Ohio every year. They have an excellent after-party – probably one of the best ever with delicious food, beer and fun photo opportunities . The shirts are nice v-necks for women, plenty of swag and awesome medals. I especially like the Tortuga Triple Challenge which is a combo of 5k, 10K and Half then you get an extra medal. The course is flat and interesting through the streets of St Pete and you get to run on the pier. Walk to and from the start line from your hotel and be stress free. No long bus shuttles or fighting for parking. The folks at St Pete Run Fest know what they are doing when it comes to creating a great event.

This is a fantastic race organized by the same company that does the Flying Pig Marathon and they know how to do things right! The swag is top notch. All participants get a nice long sleeve tech shirt, finishers gift like a duffle bag, head band, magnet and more. The course is a little challenging but there is crowd support, entertainment and plenty of water stops. The celebration at the Finish is excellent. They have lots of photo opps and runner perks, good food, drinks and the weather is (thankfully) most always a beeeeautiful sunny day.

This race is one of the very best. The organization, Pig Works does an outstanding job every year to make this event amazing. Spectators are wonderful. The City is so accommodating and the runners make this race one to remember. Hills in the beginning are tough but it’s nice and flat towards the end. Shirts are always nice. Fun expo. Top notch Race

Queen Bee is a great race for both beginners and experienced runners. Parking and logistics are easy. First 5k of this course is tough with hills. The next 5k is a sweet downhill then levels off with just a few small rolling hills back into downtown. The race directors do a fantastic job organizing the rave and in promoting a positive and encouraging environment. The medals are always unique, the L/S shirts are perfect for fall running and the race swag makes that finish line even sweeter. It’s one of my favorite races every year! #💜👑🐝

This was one of the most fun, best organized, rewarding and memorable races ever!!! From the medals, to the shirts, start line to finish, this race was one of the best. I got to meet and get photos with Meb Keflezighi, “Johnny Depp” pirate, Tampa Bay Buccaneer and a Gecko. The race was so well run.The swag, jackets, shirts, medals and finish food were amazing. Simply Outstanding! Thank you Tampa Bay, Gasparilla and Publix <3

I always recommend this race to experienced runners and first timers. It caters to females and encourages everyone no matter if you walk, run or just come out to support it. They offer great swag and good prizes. Being in October is a good time of year for running. The same people that organize the Flying Pig Marathon do this race and they know how to do it right.
