This race is phenomenally well organized and supported. Expo was the best I’ve been to. Loved the female theme – was wonderful to see things I actually was interested in at Expo and spent some money. Having music and people cheering for us the whole way was also a new and welcome experience. My first time to explore Cincinnati and we regretted not planning more time for the visit.

I have participated in the Queen Bee as a 4-miler participant the last two years, this was my first time at the half. Making this my second half marathon ever, it was definitely challenging but the volunteers made the race so much fun! Not only did we have energy and hydration stations throughout the entire run but we had excited spectators cheering us on. The level of excitement they showed gave that extra little push to keep going. This race was definitely worth the experience.

This race was a lot of fun, from beginning to end! The amazing expo had everything from hair braiding and sweet treats to must-have running gear (like my fav, Sparkle Skirts). Parking was easy in a nearby garage. The atmosphere was upbeat and empowering. The many folks who lined the route and cheered, offered snacks and drinks, and even tissues were amazing! Each mile had a fun theme. The after party was a bit crowded and chaotic at first, but the gifts were nice; A mimosa, a sunflower, a bottle of wine, and a Skyline Cheese Coney. My only minor complaint was, I’m a vegetarian so, no coney for me. But I highly recommend this awesome race!

I have run all 4 years, and love it. I live locally, but I have traveled to Orlando and run through the castle, and the Queen Bee is right there with it, if not better. The medals are DARLING ( a compact one year and a wine stopper this year). And the swag is second to none. I took home a huge bottle of wine as a finishing gift this year. Does it get better than that?? There is so much cheering along the route. It is super fun. Already looking forward to it next year. Very girly, as it should be!

I ran with the Pink Ribbon Girls and was very humbled to do so as I am not a cancer survivor. The atmosphere, music, stations etc. were awesome. The course was definitely challenging but I never felt like I wanted to quit. I love the free bottle of wine and the post race booths. The medal is super cool with the wine stopper. It was nice to be able to have it engraved which only took a few minutes. Everyone was super nice participants, volunteers, etc.
Overall, an awesome experience. Have recommended to friends and will do again!

This race is my favorite! I ran the 4-miler three years ago and the half marathon the past two years. The aid stations are fun and frequent with great crowd support. The course is great, scenic and just difficult enough. And the swag is always the best! This year, they outdid themselves with a wine stopper finisher’s medal and a full-sized bottle of wine as our finisher’s gift. The best part was we had a choice in type of wine! The after-party is always a good time and they had medal engraving, so I could get my PR time engraved on my medal. I will say, this year they only had porta johns at the bag check and even though there were 20-30, there were lines at each at the start of the race. So, if you are one who needs to go pre-race, get there early.
