Greta Boulerice's Staging Area

It was ok. Packet pick up was smooth as we arrived the day before from out of state. The course was pretty flat, it should have been one of my better races but unfortunately it was my worst.
We stayed at the official race hotel and it was impossible to find coffee in the morning. Nothing was open at the hotel and the lack of shops in town that offered anything at that hour was lacking. Please plan ahead for this!
Also there were not enough port o lets for the amount of runners. I lost 15 minutes waiting in line at mile 4.
Post race snacks were a bag of pretzels or a nutrigrain bar. 😑🤨 and the typical banana.
Overall, not one that I’ll remember or do again.

This half marathon was a fun one. Pretty flat course if you avoided the sidewalks. Stay off the sidewalks as most of them are loaded with tree roots from the gorgeous fall trees. The weather was perfect too! Traffic intersections were well controlled with police presence. Would have liked a larger window for packet pick up the day before as we were traveling from 4 hours away. Swag was a long sleeve neon shirt which I love! Gotta keep yourself seen while running on the road.
Overall a well produced run and would do it again.

The course was great. If you are a first timer, this is the race for you. Mostly flat with a few small inclines.
Pre race packet pick up the night before would have been nice as the only time to pick up if you’ve already registered was the morning of the race. This posed long lines and a bit of stress right before the start of a race.
Swag was ok. Black dry fit t shirt and a cool race medal.
The weather was nice, definitely glad it started early as the morning progressed it got pretty hot. There was a cool breeze coming off the ocean which was a saving grace.
Post race snacks only included bananas.

Definitely not for the first time half marathoner. The views were beautiful. Weather was nice. However check out the elevation map before you commit.
Race advertised donuts at aid stations, they did not have donuts. Just pastries at the finish line. Not a deal breaker…
After running 13.1 miles, we had to trek uphill 1.5 miles even further to get to our car.
Overall, a decent race if you’re up for the elevation.

Very well set up production and organized.
Weather is always great at this race. One of my favorites.
Course is well marked and offers great scenery. Spectators will cheer you on throughout the race.
