I ran the 10K for 2024 & 2025. The course has a slight incline which is not too bad (~230ft of elevation) and is on the bike path majority of the time. The tech shirt is great. I love the fabric. The goodies are excellent. I got plenty of Prime Strawberry Watermelon and food. There are no age group awards if that is what you are shooting for. This is also a night run so be careful not to bump into other runners or cyclists.

Great race to test your speed in a half marathon. Not too much elevation so you won’t suffer if you don’t like uphill running. There are lots of bugs though and they will land on your face. I had to wipe them off of my face every couple of miles. You are running mostly on asphalt so make sure you have some good road shoes. There are 6 water stations that and spread throughout the course. This is a good race if this is your first half marathon run.
The finisher medal for 2024 is a beautiful ice cream cone with glitter inside for the top of the ice cream. You can shake it and watch the glitter go everywhere in the top section. The t-shirt looks pretty high quality. I didn’t wear it for the half marathon, but I can’t wait to test it. There are plenty of snacks and drinks after the race so plenty of free swag you can have. The free Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream is pretty delicious. There are only 5-6 flavors, but you can only choose one. I chose the Berry Berry Extraordinary sorbet which is pretty sweet.
If you want to park closer to the start & finish line, make sure you come early. Those spots got filled pretty quick. Also, use sunscreen. Today was pretty hot. Also, this location is close to six flags magic mountain if you want to go to the theme park.
