I absolutely loved this race! The elevation was a bit intimidating until you start. Then the course makes you forget all about it. I never would have thought that was possible. The scenery was stunning for the entire course. I loved the mountains and going back into the town to see the beautiful houses. The volunteers everywhere were outstanding!! Seriously, the volunteers were always smiling and offering to help. There were mimosa’s, Jell-O shots and champagne along the way! We had a blast the entire course and the views were fantastic!! I highly recommend this race and I will be back again.

I ran Little Rock for the Medal and it didn’t disappoint!! I did the combo of 5k and marathon and had a blast at each race. The expo was very small and easy to get into. It didn’t have a lot of options but being from out of town I appreciated the ease to get in better.
The race start for both races were smooth and not confusing. I had easy access to the bathrooms for both races which is always a plus! Both were smaller starting corrals and all the people an volunteers were so nice. The course was pretty and had a few challenging parts. I even enjoyed the big hill at the end! You feel like a complete badass once you conquer that! The only part I was not a fan of was the out and back portion there was not enough water at the back section. I am sure the logistics of setting up a water station there is why it was like that. It would be great if the volunteers give you a heads up before passing them. Overall it was a great smooth race and the MEDAL is to die for!

This very interesting race! I don’t think there is another race that goes underwater and over a bridge. I really enjoyed running over the bridge and on the Canadian side. they were very friendly and the city views were pretty. running through the tunnel was quite the experience. My favorite part there was seeing the border line of US/Canada. Just be prepared that it will be very warm in the tunnel!
The spectators along the way were great, very supportive and fun! I enjoyed the race even with the crazy weather.

This is a no extra frills race that was great for the family to attend with me. Kids had a good time at the free kids race. Parking was easy in and out. Not much scenery to look at but thankfully it was just a 5k.
