This race is small but it is very well run. There were plenty of people in place to ensure safety where roads had to be crossed and a few well placed water stops. The out and back course is beautiful and largely flat making it a great race to PR.

Living in DE I wanted something a little more scenic than where I live. Lewes was worth the drive as this race was scenic for sure. You get the normal winds in DE, but time passes quickly running through the trail. Will do it again.

This is a small race with little swag (a shirt and medal) but trophies 3-deep in each age group. Course was on crushed gravel through Cape Henlopen State Park and was scenic. Wind was brutal at times. Hotdogs, hamburgers, beer, and Bloody Mary’s at finish. Nice race!
