The race was set up very nice. Had an amazing time. I tried to Run 100 miles and fell short. As a first timer never even tried to run that far in my life. I did the math and set up my splits to hit 90 miles in 24hrs. If you hit 85 miles in 24hrs you can add a 6hr extension to try and hit 100 miles and get that belt buckle! I was on track until mile 30. It got very cold and IT Band issues faired up. Rested and warmed up changed pants and was able to get going again and get my new revised goal of 50 miles. After hitting that goal, I called it. What a great time. Met many great people and will be back next year! I want that Buckle!
