So this race was marketed as super flat and fast, a good BQ race. We discovered it was not that. About half the 1.6 mile loop was a continuous steep hill so that will definitely slow down your pace and chew up your quads if you don’t pace correctly. The race felt pretty unorganized, the one support tent had minimal fueling choices and ran out of water bottles and ice which isn’t great in 100 degree heat. It was overall a pretty fun nightime event, not much swag at all, but any run is a fun run and the people participating in the race were really nice, spectators also provided support. I would do it again, the race organizers just need to up their game on the event and be more transparent on what to expect, not a “flat fast PR course”. Also, still waiting on photos and results from the race.

Very nice loop course with a little rocky trail, single track, and flat asphalt. The course has a little bit of all trail elements in a short loop. The staging area was always well stocked and race vibes were laid back and supportive. The weather was cool and perfect for running. I great little event in a pretty location, would recommend.
