Race packet pickup was ridiculous- I had to walk through the entire expo and spaghetti feed to pick up my race packet (like a maze), Shuttle bus up to starting line was nice, bathroom situation at starting line was awful (waiting line was so painfully long), beautiful scenery along course, aid and water stations a plenty, after the finish line was my big concern. There is very little signage as to where to go once I finished, collected my metal and tee. Another complete maze. I felt trapped and claustraphobic as I couldn’t find food or a way to get out of the maze. Finding a directions to get to the shuttle pickup was another fail. For a marathon in its’ 40th year, organization and flow is not what it should be.

You have got to try the Fargo Marathon! This race has evolved into quite the community event that appeals to all ages and levels of fitness. Great and fast course, great entertainment and mega supportive spectators lining every straight-away and turn, plenty of drink, Gu and first aid stations along the way. The finish is pretty darn spectacular as you run into the Fargo Dome and view yourself finish on the jumbo-tron. Post race food and drink is plentiful and easily accessable. The metals are pretty swanky too! Highly recommend!

It’s not very often you can run in an All women’s race. The support, energy, and fun was definitely in the air. So much fun! There is one man that gets chosen to be the solo Go Far Man! Seeing him on the course was cool! Highly recommend this race.
