It’s easy. It’s meaningful. It’s fun. Most importantly, your participation will make a difference to someone in your community!
PRC’s You Matter 5k & 10-mile bike ride is an annual event that serves as one of Pregnancy Resource Clinic’s biggest fundraisers! The walk, run, or bike ride is an event at which community members in the Centre Region are invited to raise funds (or pay a registration fee) to benefit PRC and participate in one of the three event activities. Following the 5K and 10-mile ride, participants are invited to enjoy brunch & family-friendly activities.
5K RUN/WALK: Fill up your water bottle and lace up those shoes! Walk at your own leisurely pace, or challenge yourself with chip-timing!
10-MILE BIKE RIDE: Pump up your bike tires, and grab a helmet! Enjoy a 10-mile bike ride through one of the State College bike paths!
So, what are you waiting for? Register for $30 (or $35 after 8/30), OR choose to fundraise a minimum of $35. Participants who register before 8/30 will be guaranteed an event t-shirt and race bag. Top fundraisers and top finishers (by age group) will go home with some awesome prizes!
REGISTRATION BEGINS at 7:45 AM and EVENTS BEGIN at 9 AM!
*If you’re fundraising as a family, we cannot guarantee a t-shirt for each family member but will do our best to accommodate.
*12 year olds and under participate at no cost.

I joined a friend to participate in this race for the first time. It benefited a local organization and is one of their biggest fundraisers of the year. This year they surpassed their fundraising goal. I hadn’t raced a 5k in a long time and was looking forward to seeing how I’d do. The course incorporates both bike path and neighborhood streets and is very hilly. They make it a family event with face painting, a bike tour, a bounce house and plenty of food. It was a fun morning!
