The donuts at every mile were enough to convince them to participate. What a great experience it was. My kids and I smiled the whole way!!
Typically I’m a front of the pack runner for a 5k. With my 5 year old setting the pace we were actually the last walkers. The volunteers who stayed behind us were very encouraging and helpful getting us across the finish line. All of the donut stand volunteers pumped up my kids with excitement (and sugar) to keep going!
