First place overall female! They always know how to make Eagle Creek an incredible experience. I took a break from the trails in 2023 but I’ve run twice here now and I’m starting to think it’s meant to be. I love both road and trail but I really shine on the trails. Thank you guys!

This race is well run. The trail it very well marked. The course has enough terrain to keep it interesting, but not overly challenging. This would be a great night trail race for a first timer. I’ve done this race in the rain, which made it pretty challenging since I didn’t have trail shoes at the time. This year it was dry and cold, so street shoes would have been fine. (Of couse trail shoes are always better if you have them.) Aid stations were plentiful for a trail race.
