The Winter Night Trail Run course is a 6.55 mile loop with 2 water stops. For those that are doing the half there is an additional stop at the start/finish area. Headlamp or flashlight is required during this race
What You Get at the Race:
– A long sleeve hooded tee in Heather Blue – the same awesome hooded tee we’ve used at other 131 Events!
– Finisher Medal. Always unique, always big, and always impressive!
– This will be the first qualifying event for the Fire & Ice Challenge
– Free to download, high-res, race photos, professionally shot and never watermarked.
– A unique and #BrutallyAwesome racing experience on the trails at night in a park that’s normally closed after hours.
– A self gratifying sense of accomplishment that you conquered an event that only a small number of people get to do each year (remember the field is limited and this event will sell out before Thanksgiving!)
This will be a chip-timed start, your time does not start until you cross the line. In order to spread out runners, we will start racers in waves of approximately 30-40 racers at a time. Both distances will start together. Please self-seed according to the announcer’s instructions.

First place overall female! They always know how to make Eagle Creek an incredible experience. I took a break from the trails in 2023 but I’ve run twice here now and I’m starting to think it’s meant to be. I love both road and trail but I really shine on the trails. Thank you guys!

This race is well run. The trail it very well marked. The course has enough terrain to keep it interesting, but not overly challenging. This would be a great night trail race for a first timer. I’ve done this race in the rain, which made it pretty challenging since I didn’t have trail shoes at the time. This year it was dry and cold, so street shoes would have been fine. (Of couse trail shoes are always better if you have them.) Aid stations were plentiful for a trail race.
