Coming from SC low-country the course was great, a couple of rolling inclines that’s all. The aid stations about 2.5 mile apart were fully stocked. But the best part was the swag and the after race food and wine festival!! Highly recommended.

There was no expo, just a location to pick up your bib and t-shirt. The race was well organized, but if I remember correctly, the course was short by .25 … MORE
There was no expo, just a location to pick up your bib and t-shirt. The race was well organized, but if I remember correctly, the course was short by .25 miles, which was a bummer. I enjoyed the post-race party, which included wine, wine, wine!!! The medal and wine glass were nice.

It was a good sweet race. The wine festival is just on race day. Not many options for those who don't drink. My result time is different, than there result … MORE
It was a good sweet race. The wine festival is just on race day. Not many options for those who don’t drink. My result time is different, than there result time. I noticed at 4th mile the race was short on miles. I ran the extra after crossing the finishing line for my 13.1. ,thinking it would be corrected further up. Other than that it was a good race.

This race had great scenery and everything was so green (in the Spring). It was fun cheering on the Marathoners and Half Marathoners during the staggered start and when they crossed the finish line (as I was finished before them since I did the 10k). The Wine festival at the finish was great and you got a ticket for a free plate of food at one of the food trucks!

There aren't too many races that run through the Salem parks and cross the new pedestrian bridge. This one does. It even has a little trail section to make it … MORE
