This was my first trail race and half. I was not properly prepared for the hills, but the views from the top were spectacular. Bastrop is a beautiful park. We ran 3 loops for the half. It was a cupless race with a refill station on the course and an aid station near the start that had a huge variety of snacks for fuel. One of the coolest things was they posted all the pictures of the race for free!
