The Coral Leisure Half Marathon & 10km will take place this March starting from the fantastic venue of Wicklow’s Historic Gaol. In 2013 we introduced a flatter half marathon which was very well received. We look forward to welcoming over 1,350 participants to our 10th Anniversary race in 2018.
The unique Finish area in the Courtyard of Wicklow’s Historic Gaol and the scenic Coastal course has been a big hit with runners and walkers from all over the country. Finishers will receive a bespoke Medal, a shower afterwards in the local Coral Leisure centre and refreshments in Wicklow Gaol. Also chip timed to record your walking or running time.
There is a dedicated walking section which starts 40 mins earlier for the Half Marathon to ensure everyone enjoys the atmospheric Finish area in the Courtyard of Wicklow’s Historic Gaol.

Beautiful run through Wicklow, Ireland. My very first half marathon ever and it seemed to be all uphill. Countryside and coast are spectacular.
Downside: Finisher’s medal was flimsy and ended up with XL men’s shirt (WAY too big) even though I preregistered. Disappointing since my first half marathon EVER. But, no regrets.
