If you want to get a 10k PR, run the Whiskey Road Race. The course is completely flat, and takes you through parts of the horse district in beautiful Aiken. I have not run this race in a couple years, but it is typically small. When I still lived in Aiken, this race was always on my calendar. The weather is usually nice, too!
