An incredibly niche event that draws fewer than 30 runners each year, all tempted by its claim to be the hardest half-marathon course in New England. The course delivers (1400 feet of elevation, 500 of it in the last 5k alone), and there are no organized aid stations (a few locals set up to help, but no guarantees).
