Run or walk this scenic, mostly flat 5K course or the just-for-fun Kids 1-Mile or 1/4-Mile and then stay to enjoy the Vista Strawberry Festival in the heart of downtown Vista, one of the largest single-day street fairs in North County! Enjoy yummy treats, unique finds, live entertainment, crafts, a beer garden and much more!
The Vista Strawberry Run will also feature a strawberry-themed costume contest! Dress up with a Strawberry theme and join us after the run at the main stage for our Runners’ Costume Contest. Fun prizes will be awarded for the berry best-dressed runners! Nonparticipants of the contest are still welcome and encouraged to join us to cheer for their favorite solo or team costumes.

The Vista Strawberry run is held in conjunction with the Vista Strawberry Festival. The course starts and ends in the festival, and this creates some choke points during the run as you run between booths, and around novice runners who are looking at the booths.
The course itself is not too difficult, and once the runners spread out, pretty nice.
The medal is strawberry themed, and post race goodies include strawberries. You also get a free drink in the beer garden post race.
The festival provides plenty of shopping and eating opportunities after the race.
There is parking at the nearby civic center, and also parking further out with a free shuttle.
A nice community race!
