Great small race, amazing scenery
This Race had wonderful amenities, including on-site parking in ample facilities. Great pacing and you get to see the Virgin River and surrounding red rocks from many different viewpoints. MORE

The course is a pretty disappointing looped course almost entirely on park trails. The course seems more designed for the convenience of the organizers than to be interesting for runners. Seems obvious that they are cutting corners on production, saving on buses, road closures, more aid stations, etc. This would be fine if the event cheaper than others, but it is more expensive than most. At $80+ this race is bad value for money in my opinion. There are a lot of races in Southern Utah with beautiful courses, I’d recommend doing one of those and skipping this one.
Course disappointing
