From Martigny-Combe to Chamonix, the Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc MCC is a 40 km race reserved primarily for UTMB volunteers, partners and local residents.
An adventure from Switzerland to France on a 40km course with 2300m of elevation gain. This race aims to bring teams together and share the passion of trail running. This is why UTMB volunteers, partners and locals of the Mont-Blanc valley have priority in registering for this race. It takes place entirely during the day and allows volunteers and partners the UTMB experience while still being able to honor their commitment to their team the rest of the week.
On a more accessible distance, it gives runners a feel for the ambiance of at the height of the world’s trail running scene, with same quality standards as the other UTMB races. From the start line in Martigny-Combe, you will climb to the Col de la Forclaz before pushing yourself to reach the emblematic Col de Balme. Crossing through some of the most beautiful hamlets of the upper Chamonix valley, you will descend towards the mythic finish line in the heart of the village.
