Ugly Sweater 5K (Denver) Denver, CO   Dec 20, 2026

Get into the holiday spirit with the Ugly Sweater 5K! Runners and walkers, young and old, are invited to join at Washington Park in Denver for a flat, fast 5K. Dress in a tacky sweater – the more tinsel, bows, reindeer and candy canes, the better. It’s not a fashion faux pas if you’re supposed to wear it! All finishers will get an ugly sweater race medal, a themed shirt and a finish line expo with vendors, food and cookies.

The race will be staged from the Mount Vernon Garden at Washington Park in Denver. Washington Park is a long and rectangular park bordered by Virginia Avenue on the north, Downing Street on the west, Louisiana Avenue on the south, and Franklin Street on the east. It is one mile long by a quarter mile wide, covering 165 acres, making it one of the largest parks in Denver.
